1. Who we are
This website, conciergeconnection.thiscouldbeyoursite.org, is run by Concierge Connection. We are responsible for the personal information the site collects.
The person accountable for privacylegal.privacyOfficer in src/site.config.ts: a name and title, usually the owner.Email for privacy requestslegal.privacyEmail or contact.email in src/site.config.ts2. What we collect, and how
- When you contact us through the form, by email or by phone: your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, and your message.
- When you visit: this site does not use analytics. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, the address requested, the browser's identification) for security and to keep the site running.
You do not have to give us anything. Without a way to reach you, we cannot reply. This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 14 (13 outside Quebec). If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.
3. Why we use it
| What | Why | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Your name, contact details and message | To answer you and, if you become a customer, to do the work | Implied by contacting us |
| Server logs | Security, preventing abuse, keeping the site running | Necessary to operate the site |
| Customer records, if you become a customer | Invoices, tax and accounting | Required by law |
We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions with it.
4. Cookies
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
5. Who handles it for us
These service providers process information on our behalf, under their own terms and privacy policies:
| Provider | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting and server logs | Cloudflare's global network, including the United States |
Some of these providers are outside Canada. While your information is with them, it is subject to the laws of the country it is in and may be accessible to its courts and authorities. We do not share personal information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
- Messages and enquiries:How long enquiries are keptlegal.enquiryRetention in src/site.config.ts, for example 12 months
- Customer records: for as long as tax law requires, which in Canada is generally six years.
- Server logs: for the period set in Cloudflare's own policy.
7. How we protect it
Every page uses HTTPS. We use reputable providers, limit who can see personal information, protect our accounts with two-factor authentication, and collect only what the purposes above need. No method is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will tell you and the privacy regulator, as the law requires.
8. Your rights
You can ask us, free of charge:
- what personal information we hold about you, how we use it and who it has been shared with;
- to correct it;
- to withdraw your consent, for the future, where the law allows;
- to delete it, where we no longer need it;
- if you live in Quebec, for a copy in a structured, commonly used format.
Write to the address in section 1. We will confirm it is you and reply within 30 days. Some requests have limits set by law (for example, we must keep tax records); if one applies, we will tell you which and why.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or, in Quebec, to the Commission d'accès à l'information.
9. Changes
We post changes here with a new "last updated" date. For a significant change, we also add a notice on the home page.
